Michael Olise makes SHOCK Liverpool decision after 'historic' offer
Bayern attacker Michael Olise appears ready to snub Liverpool as he has "his eyes firmly set" on a move to Real Madrid and Barcelona, according to a report.
The France international has become one of the biggest superstars in European football over the past couple of seasons. Since leaving Crystal Palace for Bayern, Olise has gone from strength to strength.
The 24-year-old currently sits on 14 assists and nine goals for the season, having made 23 appearances. All told, Olise has notched 29 goals and 37 assists in 78 outings for the Munich outfit.
Given these numbers, it is unsurprising that the winger has become the subject of speculation in recent months. Liverpool have earmarked him as a potential long-term replacement for club legend Mohamed Salah, while PSG are prepared to make a "historic" offer for him.
Although Bayern are well protected - contrary to some reports, Olise does not have a release clause - they have not been entirely unaffected by the rumours. The Bundesliga champions are already thinking about handing their superstar attacker an improved contract.
Olise eyes LaLiga transfer
According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool and PSG are far from Olise's only suitors. Real Madrid and Barcelona, too, are keeping tabs on the Frenchman's stunning development, and Olise is not indifferent to their interest.
On the contrary, it is suggested that Olise could snub a return to the Premier League in favour of a blockbuster move to Spain, with the winger having "his eyes firmly set" on Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The interest from Los Blancos, in particular, "can't be discounted" amid the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo. However, it is acknowledged that it will be a challenge to get him out of Bayern.
Intriguingly, the report also claims that Arsenal have also been keeping a close eye on Olise. However, with Bukayo Saka poised to sign a potentially record-breaking new contract, and with his deputy Noni Madueke impressing as well, they have little need for another right winger.
