Liverpool rocked as PSG launch 'historic' transfer offer
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly launched a “historic” offer for Liverpool target Michael Olise ahead of 2026.
The France international has emerged as a top transfer target for a plethora of elite European clubs amid his immense form at Bayern Munich and PSG have now joined the race to acquire his signature.
Olise has scored 29 goals and provided 37 assists in 78 games since arriving in Bavaria last summer, and PSG have now “set their sights” on completing a deal for the 24-year-old in 2026.
That is according to Spanish publication Fichajes, who claim that Luis Enrique’s side have lodged a bid worth a whopping €150 million as they look to finalise a deal with Bayern Munich.
Olise’s current deal at the Allianz Arena isn’t set to expire until 2029, but reports in Germany suggest that Bayern are already determined to reach a contract extension agreement with the former Crystal Palace star in an attempt to ward off interest from numerous clubs across Europe.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been linked with the Frenchman in recent months, with the latter identifying him as a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah, who is expected to depart Anfield in 2026 after falling out of favour under Arne Slot.
Who will Liverpool sign to replace Mohamed Salah?
With PSG entering the fray for Olise’s signature, Liverpool may be forced to pursue an alternative target in their bid to replace the aforementioned Salah.
It has been widely reported that Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo is on their radar, although Manchester City have also been earmarked as a possible destination for the Ghana international, while Manchester United are eager to land him too.
It’s understood that Liverpool have sent scouts to watch RB Leipzig wonderkid Yan Diomande on a number of occasions this season, ahead of a potential bid, while Real Madrid star Rodrygo is also an option amid reports that he could leave the Bernabeu in 2026.
