TRANSFER RUMOURS: Man Utd restart Baleba talks as Chelsea receive €114m message
The countdown to the January transfer window is on and every top club in world football is already beginning to finalise their desired plans in the market.
Below, FootballTransfers runs through the biggest rumours from 4 November, including the latest on Carlos Baleba and Morgan Rogers.
Carlos Baleba to Man Utd?
Manchester United have reportedly restarted negotiations with Brighton & Hove Albion over a January transfer for Carlos Baleba.
The Cameroon international was close to completing a blockbuster move to Old Trafford this summer, but Ruben Amorim’s side were unable to finalise a transfer fee agreement with Brighton and the proposed deal collapsed.
However, have now opened fresh talks over a possible January deal worth up to €102m, according to transfer reporter IndyKaila.
Morgan Rogers release clause
Aston Villa are reportedly set to hand Morgan Rogers a massive release clause in a bid to fend off interest from Chelsea and other suitors.
The England international is in line for a bumper new contract at Villa Park and TEAMtalk reports that he is set to be handed a sizeable pay increase from £75,000 a week to £150,000.
Moreover, Villa will fit the attacking midfielder with a prohibitive release clause described as being close to £100 million (€114m). A transfer in that financial ballpark would make Rogers one of the most expensive players in Premier League history.
Erling Haaland targets Real Madrid move
Erling Haaland has given the go-ahead to join Real Madrid, with the Man City superstar hoping to join the Blancos sooner rather than later.
That is according to respected Spanish journalist Jorge Picon, who reports that Haaland's entourage informed him of Haaland's desire to join Real Madrid.
Picon says that Haaland would like Madrid to be his next club and that he is in control of his own destiny as he has an unknown release clause in his latest Man City contract that the Spanish giants can activate.
Man Utd scout Vitor Roque
Manchester United are reportedly preparing a €50 million offer for Palmeiras star Vitor Roque amid their pursuit of a new centre forward.
Several Premier League clubs are understood to be monitoring his development in Brazil and Man Utd are now prepared to submit a big-money bid for the 20-year-old.
That is according to Spanish publication Sport, who claim that Man Utd are closely watching Roque ahead of a potential move next year.
Crystal Palace eye Tyrique George
Chelsea star Tyrique George has been given a transfer lifeline following reports that Crystal Palace are interested in signing him during the upcoming January window.
The England U21 international was on the verge of joining Fulham on a permanent deal on Transfer Deadline Day this summer, however Marco Silva’s side surprisingly withdrew their offer at the last minute and the move collapsed.
Although he has featured eight times for the Blues so far this season, The Daily Mail have revealed that Chelsea plan on holding talks with George ahead of the January transfer window, with an exit on the cards, while The Mirror report that Crystal Palace are among the clubs interested in signing him.
