Chelsea were extremely active in the market during the 2025 summer transfer window and Enzo Maresca has already been rewarded by the club’s new additions.

The Blues are currently second in the Premier League table, having picked up seven points from their opening three fixtures, and their huge summer investment has certainly helped.

Joao Pedro has four goal contributions in just three English top flight matches for the west London giants, while fellow Brazilian Estevao Willian has also settled in nicely and he became the youngest Chelsea player to ever register a Premier League assist during the 5-1 victory over West Ham United.

However, the true measure of Chelsea’s success in the market can be seen by the new Estimated Transfer Value’s (ETV) of their summer signings.

Chelsea handed €95m transfer boost

In total, Chelsea spent €325.9m on nine new signings during the 2025 summer transfer window, but the current ETVs of those players now stands at a whopping €420.7m.

As a result, the Blues have already reaped the rewards of their summer business.

Joao Pedro and Liam Delap currently boast a slightly lower ETV than the fees Chelsea paid to sign them this summer, however every other signing is now worth more than their transfer fee.

Jamie Gittens was signed for €56m, but his ETV sits at €74.6m, while Alejandro Garnacho is valued at €58.1m, despite only joining the Blues for €46.2m.

Jorrel Hato’s ETV is now €16.5m more than his €44.2m transfer fee, Dario Essugo’s value stands at €7m more than Chelsea paid to sign him, while both Mamadou Sarr and Kendry Paez, who are on loan at Strasbourg, could also turn Chelsea a tidy profit.

Estevao Willian is the clear winner, however. He joined Chelsea for an initial €34m, but his ETV now stands at an insane €75.6m.

The Blues have been criticised for their dealings in the market over the past few years, but their business this summer has certainly been shrewd and it’s handed Maresca an unlikely boost.
