West Ham tell Graham Potter when he will be sacked
West Ham United have made a disastrous start to the season and have already told manager Graham Potter exactly when he will be sacked.
The Hammers slumped to a 3-0 loss away to Sunderland on the opening weekend of the Premier League campaign before being humiliated 5-1 at home against Chelsea on Friday.
The West Ham support made their feelings towards the current regime clear during the derby loss, with the London Stadium largely empty by the time the full-time whistle was blown.
Now owner David Sullivan is ready to take action, according to TBR Football.
It is claimed that the Hammers boss has been “rocked” by the performances of the team so far. And now Potter has been given just two matches to turn things around with the Hammers or else face losing his job.
Next up for West Ham is a trip to Wolves in the EFL Cup second round on 26 August, followed by a Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest on 31 August.
The match against Forest promises to be a high-stakes affair in both dugouts, with the home side also considering a change of management following a fall-out between manager Nuno Espirito Santo and owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Indeed, Gary Neville even suggested that Santo could be the next West Ham manager after hailing the job the Portuguese has done at Forest as “absolutely sensational”.
Moyes regret?
West Ham have failed to find any consistent form since parting company with David Moyes in the summer of 2024. The Scotsman’s brand of football was seen as dull by supporters, yet it brought the club European success in the form of the Conference League title.
Julen Lopetegui failed to build on the momentum of Moyes and lasted a matter of months before being replaced by Potter, whose performance has been even worse.
Potter has won only five of 21 West Ham matches since taking charge, giving him a win percentage of just 23.8%.
