English top flight teams have splashed the cash yet again this year, but several high-profile deals are still expected to be formally completed before the window slams shut at 19:00 BST on Monday evening.

Below, FootballTransfers runs through five Premier League transfers that are set to go through on Deadline Day.

Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace to Liverpool)

Marc Guehi reached an agreement to join Liverpool several weeks ago, but he is yet to complete his desired move to Anfield.

A bid worth €40 million has been submitted by Arne Slot’s side, however Crystal Palace are yet to sanction his departure and Oliver Glasner recently admitted that Guehi won’t be allowed to leave this summer.

Despite this, Ibrahima Konate has just one year remaining on his current contract at Anfield and with the Frenchman expected to join Real Madrid in 2026, Liverpool are desperate to bring in Guehi to bolster their defensive roster.

Furthermore, Konate was forced off through injury during Liverpool’s win over Arsenal on Sunday and the Reds are therefore expected to ramp up negotiations for Guehi on Deadline Day.

Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa to Man Utd)

Emiliano Martinez has been linked with a move to Manchester United throughout the summer transfer window and a deal now looks increasingly likely.

The Argentina international has reached a full agreement on personal terms with Ruben Amorim’s side and he is eager to complete a blockbuster move on Deadline Day.

Man Utd are currently locked in talks with Aston Villa and Martinez was notably omitted from Unai Emery’s matchday squad to face Crystal Palace on Sunday evening amid intense rumours of a move to Old Trafford.

Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens had looked set to join Man Utd this summer, but the Belgian could now join Aston Villa as their replacement for Martinez.

Facundo Buonanotte (Barcelona to Chelsea)

Chelsea are expected to complete the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion attacker Facundo Buonanotte on a season-long loan deal on Monday.

He spent last season on loan at Leicester City and he will be officially unveiled as Chelsea’s latest signing on Deadline Day following their failure to sign Xavi Simons.

Fermin Lopez has also been heavily linked with a Deadline Day transfer to Chelsea, although Barcelona don’t want to sell the Spain international and he is yet to express his desire to force through a move.

As a result, Buonanotte is set to become another attacking option for Enzo Maresca, with Cole Palmer currently sidelined through injury.

Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG to Man City)

Manchester City have already signed James Trafford so far this summer, but they are set to add Paris Saint-Germain outcast Gianluigi Donnarumma to their ranks.

The Italy superstar has been cast aside by Luis Enrique following the arrival of Lucas Chevalier from Lille, and Man City are the firm frontrunners for his signature.

Donnarumma has agreed personal terms with Man City and Pep Guardiola’s side have already planned a medical for the 26-year-old, as per reports.

The transfer is expected to go through if Ederson completes a move to Fenerbahce.

Alexander Isak (Newcastle to Liverpool)

One of the longest transfer sagas in football history could be set to conclude on Transfer Deadline Day, with Alexander Isak edging closer to a Premier League record move to Liverpool.

The Sweden star is desperate to join Liverpool and the Reds are expected to submit a €150m bid for the forward.

Newcastle have been reluctant to sell Isak so far this summer, but they appear open to the possibility of an exit after signing Stuttgart star Nick Woltemade for a fee of €85m.

If Isak does leave, Newcastle are expected to intensify their pursuit of wantaway Brentford striker Yoane Wissa.
