Triple Chelsea deal unlocks two BLOCKBUSTER signings
Chelsea are currently locked in talks to offload Joao Felix, Axel Disasi and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as they seek to raise funds for the arrivals of Xavi Simons and Jorrel Hato.
The Blues' busy summer continues apace, and there are no signs of their business slowing down anytime soon. On the incoming front, Chelsea have ramped up discussions for Dutch youngsters Xavi Simons and Jorrel Hato.
Negotiations with Ajax for the latter are currently taking place. Chelsea have already managed to secure buy-in from the 19-year-old, and personal terms are not expected to be an issue.
Meanwhile, the Stamford Bridge club are still discussing terms with Simons, and an agreement here is close as well. Negotiations with RB Leipzig were expected to take place on Tuesday, but it seems that they have been delayed, with Chelsea first wanting to secure a deal with the player.
The pair could potentially command as much as €100 million should these moves indeed materialise, which means that Chelsea will have to make sales beforehand, having been told by UEFA that they need to finish the summer window with a positive balance.
Chelsea to offload trio
Fortunately for Chelsea, there are a host of players who are expected to leave the club before Deadline Day, and concrete talks over three exits are currently taking place.
According to Sky Sports, Fulham are discussing a potential move for midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who only joined Chelsea last summer. The Cottagers are open to both a loan and a permanent signing, but it remains to be seen if a deal can be done.
There are also currently talks with Benfica for Joao Felix. Record claims that Chelsea have accepted a €25m offer from the Lisbon giants for 50 per cent of Felix's rights, with the player keen to return home after several unsuccessful years in Spain, England and Italy.
Finally, Villarreal are currently negotiating a deal with Chelsea for Axel Disasi. The LaLiga side had initially wanted to sign him permanently, but the Blues' €30m asking price reportedly put them off. They are now readying a loan bid, according to L'Equipe. Chelsea would prefer a sale.
