The transfer window is set to pick up over the course of the next week, with many of the Premier League’s biggest clubs, including Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool all expected to announce signings.

Here are five deals to watch out for over the course of the next seven days.

Bryan Mbeumo to Man Utd from Brentford

There’s still a fair bit to go before Manchester United get Mbeumo over the line, but it’s entirely possible that the Brentford attacker will be a member of the Old Trafford side by this time next week.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that talks are ongoing between the two clubs, while it’s long been established that the Cameroon international forward wants the switch to Old Trafford. If Man Utd can make a breakthrough over the player’s price, this one could reach a rapid conclusion. With a new financial year beginning this week, there is a strong possibility this could happen.

Mbeumo would become the Red Devils’ second major signing of the summer following the deal to add Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Martin Zubimendi to Arsenal from Real Sociedad

Expect a rush of signings from Arsenal in the coming week, with Martin Zubimendi’s transfer from Real Sociedad the highlight deal.

FootballTransfers exclusively revealed the Gunners’ had struck a deal with the Spain star over his contract in January, and the Gunners will finally get the move over the line.

Kepa Arrizabalaga will also sign for Arsenal from Chelsea after the North London side triggered his €6m release clause, while Christian Norgaard is expected to arrive from Brentford.

Now Mikel Arteta is turning his attention to the club’s attack, where he is looking at a potential bargain signing.

Jamie Gittens to Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund

A week couldn’t pass in the transfer market without Chelsea making at least one signing.

Enzo Maresca’s side are poised to announce a deal for Jamie Gittens to arrive in West London from Borussia Dortmund to add to their attacking options.

But they won’t stop there. Joao Pedro will also join from Brighton after Chelsea beat stern competition from Newcastle for the Brazilian.

Marc Guehi to Liverpool from Crystal Palace

Liverpool have been highly efficient in the transfer market this summer, so although there are reports that they are still someway from Crystal Palace’s asking price, look for the Anfield club to try to wrap this deal up quickly.

Guehi has already agreed personal terms with Arne Slot’s side, according to reports.

He only has a year left on his contract, so Liverpool are in a strong position in the negotiations.

The Reds will sell Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen in a €30m deal to make room in their squad for Guehi.

Nico Williams to Barcelona from Athletic Club

Could this finally be the week that Barcelona get this long-awaited deal done? It’s been on-off for much of the last 18 months, but the Camp Nou side seem to have almost everything in order.

One hurdle is Athletic’s insistence that the €58m release clause is met. Once Barcelona can do that, the transfer will be complete in double-quick time.

Arsenal and Chelsea seem to have given up hope of picking up any scraps, but Bayern Munich are still monitoring the situation.
