Man Utd pay Marcus Rashford to join Barcelona

Manchester United will be forced to heavily subsidise Marcus Rashford's salary for any buying club this summer.
According to the Daily Telegraph, United have so many high-earning players on their books that it is making it impossible to find new clubs for them who can afford their wages.
Rashford is on €18 million a year at Old Trafford, while other high earners that are impossible to budge include Mason Mount on €15m and Andre Onana on €7m.
The Telegraph adds that finding a buyer ready to match or improve Alejandro Garnacho's relatively low salary of €3m is also proving difficult.
Man Utd to subsidise Rashford
As a result, Man Utd will be forced to once again subsiside the lost earnings of Rashford at his next club, with Barcelona his dream destination.
Barcelona will sign Nico Williams this summer on the left wing, but president Joan Laporta has confirmed the interest in bringing in Rashford too.
Nicolo Schira reported recently that Barcelona have already offered Man Utd a loan with the option to buy.
Rashford is understood to be desperate to make a move to Barcelona this summer.
The 27-year-old Rashford joined Aston Villa on loan in January until the end of the season with a reported option to make the deal permanent for around €47.5 million.
However, Villa decided against making the move permanent and he has now returned to United.

The 27-year-old has immediately gone on the market as his Man Utd career is over.
He was placed on the market initially in January after the controversial interview with Henry Winter before Christmas.
The attacker admitted that he was “ready for a new challenge” and he was subsequently exiled from the squad before joining Villa.
Rashford impressed at Villa at the start of his loan, earning him a recall to the England national team squad.
In total he managed two goals and four assists in all competitions for Villa.
Rashford has made 426 appearances and scored 138 goals at Manchester United.
He has been capped 62 times by England, scoring 17 goals.
