OFFICIAL: Chelsea star signs new deal as summer transfer confirmed

Chelsea goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe has officially signed a new three-year contract at the club and he will spend the 2025-26 campaign on loan at Bolton Wanderers.
The 22-year-old, who is currently on international duty with England at the U21 European Championship, has penned a new deal at Stamford Bridge until 2028, and Bolton have now confirmed his arrival on a season-long loan deal.
Sharman-Lowe enjoyed a successful loan spell at Doncaster Rovers last season as he played every available minute en route to the League Two title, keeping 13 clean sheets in 46 league matches.
The Chelsea goalkeeper also spent time on loan at Burton Albion, Havant & Waterlooville and Bromley before his move to Doncaster last year and he will make the step up to League One with Bolton this campaign.
Sharman-Lowe, who is yet to make his senior Chelsea debut, has become Bolton’s fifth signing of the summer window, following the arrivals of Sam Dalby, Xavier Simons, Charlie Warren and Richard Taylor.
Upon confirmation of his move to Bolton, he told the club’s official website: “I’m very excited to be here. It's another great challenge for me. Coming to a club as big as Bolton - with its past in the Premier League as well and aspirations to be back there - I think I can really kick on and it's another great opportunity for me.
“It’s a beautiful stadium and I'm sure there will be a lot of fans here. I’m very excited to get going and I'm really looking forward to the season.
“Hopefully we can get promoted this year. It's obviously been the aim for the past few years and there's a real ambition in the club to get it done this year.”
