Man Utd Transfer News Today: Rashford makes decision amid Amorim resignation fear

FootballTransfers runs through all the latest Manchester United transfer news, rumours and gossip, including updates on Marcus Rashford and Ruben Amorim.
Marcus Rashford update
Marcus Rashford is reportedly willing to take a significant pay cut in order to force through a move to Barcelona this summer.
The England international, who is currently on loan at Aston Villa, is set to leave Man Utd on a permanent deal once the 2024-25 campaign concludes and he has identified Barcelona as his priority next destination, as per multiple reports.
Furthermore, Rashford is even willing to accept a reduced salary to join Barcelona, according to SPORT, as he pushes to secure a summer move to Camp Nou.
Franco Mastantuono talks
Man Utd are among the clubs in talks to sign River Plate youngster Franco Mastantuono, according to TBR Football.
The Argentina wonderkid is regarded as one of the brightest talents in South America and he is being courted by multiple Premier League teams, including Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.
Mastantuono is reportedly available for €49 million due to a release clause in his current contract and although Man Utd are determined to win the race for his signature, Real Madrid remain the frontrunners to acquire his signature.
Joshua Zirkzee asking price
Joshua Zirkzee could be set to leave Man Utd after just one season and the Old Trafford outfit are ready to sanction a sale if they receive an offer worth €40m.
That is according to CaughtOffside, who claim that a return to Serie A is on the cards for the Netherlands international.
Inter Milan have been heavily linked with a move for Zirkzee in recent weeks and Simone Inzaghi’s side are interested in agreeing a loan deal with an option to buy.
Ruben Amorim resignation fear
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is ready to back Man Utd in the transfer market this summer, although he is fearful that Ruben Amorim could be set to hand in his resignation.
The Portuguese head coach has endured a tricky first six months in charge at Old Trafford and Ratcliffe is concerned that Amorim will opt to leave the club, as per The Sun.

Ratcliffe is reportedly willing to spend big on reinforcements during the upcoming summer transfer window, but he will only sanction a huge recruitment push if Amorim is committed to seeing out the remaining two years of his contract.
Despite his struggles at Man Utd, Amorim is being watched by Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig and clubs in Saudi Arabia, according to TBR Football.
