Bruno Fernandes in ‘PRODUCTIVE’ contract talks

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has held what have been described as “productive” contract talks with Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.
Fernandes is one of the star players Man Utd could sell this summer to ease their financial issues. Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo also fall into this bracket, plus players who have been away on loan, such as Antony and Marcus Rashford.
The Portugal star, though, could land the Red Devils big money as he has been linked with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
Rumour has it that Man Utd could be offered up to €100 million for the 30-year-old – well above his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €55m.
Al-Hilal pushing for Bruno Fernandes green light
Now football transfer news expert Ben Jacobs has confirmed talks between Man Utd captain Fernandes and Al-Hilal.
He reports on X: “Bruno Fernandes agent Miguel Pinho travelled to Saudi Arabia this week to meet with Al-Hilal and speak to president Fahad bin Nafel.
“Discussions, described by Hilal sources as 'productive', took place at the Four Seasons in Riyadh, and talks ran late into the evening.
“Hilal asked earlier in the week for an answer within 72 hours as they look to firm up marquee signings ahead of the Club World Cup.

“Hilal are still waiting on Fernandes' decision but pushing. Saudi sources insist Fernandes is yet to reject their offer, adding significant efforts have been made in the last two days to try and get Fernandes' green light.
“Man Utd’s position remains they don't want to lose their captain and no bid has arrived to date from Al-Hilal. The next few days are going to be key in clarifying Fernandes' future.”
Bruno’s worth to Man Utd was made amply clear during the 2024/25 season as he delivered 19 goals and 19 assists across 57 appearances in all competitions.
