Dean Huijsen is in danger of becoming the victim of a major clean-out at Juventus this summer.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian giants want to say goodbye to some talents in order to boost their finances and then invest that money in recruiting some elite players. Man Utd and Liverpool target Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta is at the top of the wish list as a replacement for Paul Pogba.

Huijsen scored his first goal in Serie A while on loan at AS Roma last weekend, but there seems to be no future for the Dutchman in Turin. The central defender will remain with the Romans for the remainder of the season, with the intention of playing more minutes there.

Juventus initially seemed open to a return of Huijsen in the summer, but now the club appear to want to get rid of the defender. According to the above-mentioned newspaper, Huijsen does not have to worry about a lack of interest.

Man Utd keen

The central defender, who spent a large part of his youth training at Málaga, is said to be monitored by the likes of Man Utd, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund. Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is aiming high and reportedly wants an amount of between €25 million and €30m for Huijsen.

The 18-year-old is not the only talent that could be sold next summer to make the arrival of Koopmeiners possible. Kaio Jorge, Matías Soulé, Enzo Barrenechea and Facundo Gonzalez could also leave Juventus, it is asserted.

The Bianconeri believe that they can make around €100m from sales next summer, while Atalanta wants around €60m for their star midfielder Koopmeiners. In addition to Juventus, Man Utd and Liverpool, Tottenham have also been said to be interested in the 25-year-old Dutch international, though Fabrizio Romano is not sure the attraction is concrete.
