Tuesday delivered some big transfer news as the truth behind the links of Antoine Griezmann to Man Utd was revealed.

Plus, a Chelsea star has been told that he must leave to save his career and new suitors have emerged for Raphael Varane. There's plenty to cover, so let's jump right in.

Maatsen must leave

Chelsea youngster has been urged to leave after putting in a "shocking" display that showed that his lack of game time has made him "two steps too slow."

Cole Palmer is the complete opposite of Maatsen right now and the freshly-minted England star has even been compared to Jude Bellingham.

There were more big Chelsea news as one of the club's board members apparently requested the Blues make a move for Raphael Varane, who could leave Man Utd in January.

This is unsurprising as Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Chelsea will be in the market for a centre-back in the winter window.

Griezmann to Man Utd?

Romano also rubbished the rumours linking France star Antoine Griezmann to a move to Man Utd.

Like Chelsea, the Red Devils will instead try to sign a centre-back in January, but one rumoured target is not actually on Erik ten Hag's shortlist.
