During the 4-0 win in De Klassieker at the Johan Cruijff ArenA against Ajax, several scouts from the top of the Premier League, Bundesliga and Serie A were reportedly in the stands to watch the performances of various Feyenoord players, including Giménez, Calvin Stengs and Igor Paixão.

It now appears that these three are not the only ones who can count on interest from the European top. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Man Utd and Tottenham Hotspur are said to be keeping an eye on Timber.

The controlling midfielder was signed by Feyenoord from FC Utrecht for €7.4 million in the summer of 2022 and signed a contract until 2026. Although he became a national champion in his first year in Rotterdam, he was not one of the main stars at the time under trainer Arne Slot.

This season, however, Timber is one of the standouts. He made a strong impression in the nine matches he played and was has managed one goal and three assists. In addition to the entire top of the Premier League and Atlético, these good performances have not gone unnoticed by clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, AS Monaco and Napoli.

Before the 2023/24 season, Timber already expressed to Voetbal International his dream of making a major transfer in the future. “It would be fantastic to make such a step, but it all starts with Feyenoord,” said the former youth international of the Dutch team. “I want to show great things this season and then we will see what the future brings.”
