Erik ten Hag is reportedly FURIOUS that Man Utd have failed so far to make any summer signings as the Old Trafford takeover saga rumbles on.

It appears the Glazers are not keen to sanction any massive outlay with the club for sale, and that is impacting United's summer business.

Qatar's Sheikh Jassim and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe are the two main bidders, but the Glazers appear no closer to making a decision on who will acquire the Premier League giant from them.

Now ten Hag is apparently raging, per The Sun, at the lack of activity in the transfer market as the Red Devils begin to lose out on top targets.

Man Utd already appear to have failed to land Napoli's South Korean defender Kim Min-Jae, with Bayern Munich beating them to the punch.

And The Sun reports that the frustration boiled over even further when Ten Hag learned that Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Declan Rice from West Ham for around £100 million.

Ten Hag was thwarted by the Glazers in his attempt to move for Rice, so no wonder he is not a happy man right now.

Man Utd star Shaw tries to TAP UP Harry Kane and Declan Rice

Man Utd are struggling to persuade anybody to move to Old Trafford so far this summer as the club's takeover saga rumbles on.

Now they appear to be getting a little help from their current players in the transfer market with England star Luke Shaw apparently trying to tap up his international team-mates Harry Kane and the aforementioned Declan Rice.

Tottenham striker Kane and West Ham midfielder Rice are two of the hottest names on the market this summer, and Shaw has been training with them at United's Carrington base in recent days on England duty.

He shared pictures with them to his Instagram account with an 'eyes' emoji and the words "Carrington tour".

When asked about the cheeky post, Shaw admitted: “I’d love them to join United, I am not going to lie. I am telling them how good Manchester United is because I know their qualities.

"They are both world-class players who would improve our team massively.

“They have been here the last couple of days and, hopefully, they like it and can get used to it!”

Kane has been mentioned as an alternative to the most prized striker on the market this summer - PSG megastar Kylian Mbappe. But recent reports suggest United do not believe a deal can be done with Spurs.

Rice meanwhile appears more likely to seal a massive £100m switch to West Ham's London neighbours Arsenal.

Fabrizio Romano says Harry Maguire LIKELY to leave Man Utd

Ace transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano says there is a 'concrete chance' that England defender Harry Maguire will leave Man Utd this summer.

Romano says the former Leicester City man will meet with manager Erik ten Hag to discuss his future in the coming days.

United though will not sell unless the right sort of offer comes in - they want to recoup as much of their £80m outlay on Maguire as possible.

Man Utd target Rabiot 'offered to Barcelona'

As already mentioned, Man Utd look likely to lose out to Bayern Munich in the race to sign Napoli's South Korean defender Kim Min-jae. And now it looks like they could miss another big summer target too - Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

Rabiot is a free agent at the end of this month and while Juventus have offered him a new one-year deal, it appeared Man Utd were favourites to finally land their long-term target.

Now though we have the likes of Newcastle United reportedly interest in the 28-year-old, as well as Spanish giants Barcelona.

According to reports from Italy (Tuttosport), Spanish sources are claiming the talented 28-year-old midfielder has been offered to the Catalan giants.

Rabiot's mother and agent Veronique is currently fielding offers for her son's next big move.

Joining Man Utd would be SIDEWAYS move for Mason Mount

How the mighty are fallen - when was the last time you heard anybody saying that signing for Man Utd is a SIDEWAYS move.

Well that is exactly the situation in 2023 as former Chelsea star Franck Leboeuf tells current Stamford Bridge star Mason Mount exactly that.

He told ESPN: "If you want to move club, it’s because you think it’s a promotion. Hear me well, I am not saying that Manchester United is at the same level as Chelsea, compared to last season.

"In terms of a club and what they want to achieve. I think there is only one club better than Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool. It’s Manchester City.

"I really think, if the player wants to move if he is available, then he has to look for something better, where he can get something out of it.

"So, I don’t understand the move of Havertz to Arsenal or Mount to Manchester United. Like I wouldn’t understand Christian Eriksen from Manchester United to Chelsea. That is the same level, for me."

It appears Mount will likely make the switch to Old Trafford this summer assuming the Red Devils make an offer that the Blues accept. Currently they are some way apart.

United's opening offer of £40m was rejected while Chelsea want £70m. A compromise is likely to be found somewhere in the middle.

Eric Bailly linked with return to Spain with Real Betis interested

Eric Bailly could return to Spain's La Liga with Real Betis showing interest in the Ivory Coast defender.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Bailly's seven-year spell at Old Trafford could soon come to an end.

Bailly cost United more than £30million when they acquired him from Villarreal in the summer of 2016, and since then he has played only 113 games for the club. He spent 2022-23 on loan at French giants Marseille.

The Red Devils will take a massive loss on Bailly - with any fee likely to be well under €10m.
