Two big questions dominated the football transfer news today (Thursday) - is there anybody Arsenal cannot sign? And is there anybody Man Utd can? At least they dominated until about 5pm UK time...then it all changed.

While the Gunners were well on the way to 'winning the window' this summer with done deals for Declan Rice and Kai Havertz pretty much in the bag, it was very much the opposite up north at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag was reportedly furious at the lack of signings in Manchester as that takeover saga between Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe rumbles on.
