Cristiano Ronaldo CONFIRMS €400m contract accepted after tearful Nations League victory

Cristiano Ronaldo has ended weeks of transfer rumours and speculation by revealing what club he will spend the 2025/26 season with.
The Al-Nassr striker is out of contract with the Saudi Pro League side on 30 June and had been linked to a string of alternative clubs. The likes of Wydad Casablanca and Botafogo were both rumoured to have made contact with the Portugal legend over a potential appearance in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Ronaldo, 40, confirmed on international duty that he had knocked back these offers.
Now he has confirmed that he plans on extending his contract with Al-Nassr, who have reportedly offered him a two-year deal worth €400 million plus a stake in the club.
Speaking to the media following Portugal’s Nations League victory over Spain on penalties on Sunday, Ronaldo said: “Practically nothing will change. Will I be in Al Nassr? Yes.”
Ronaldo confirms injury issue after Nations League victory
Ronaldo enjoyed a productive international break, netting the winner against Germany in the semi-finals before showing his poaching instinct to snatch an equaliser versus Spain in a thrilling 2-2 draw.
The Manchester United and Real Madrid legend had to exit the match in the second half of the match after sustaining a minor injury problem
“I had already felt the injury during the warm-up, I had been feeling it for some time, but if I had to break a leg for the national team, I would have. It was a title, I had to play and I gave my all, I went as far as I could. I helped with a goal," Ronaldo said.
His decision not to play in the Club World Cup means that he will have the opportunity to rest his body over the summer and come back to full fitness next season with Al-Nassr.
