Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen says the club have the means to pull off “any transfer” as they look to tie Harry Kane and Michael Olise to new deals.

The futures of Kane and Olise have come into focus this week after the Bayern superstars finished inside the top 10 in the rankings for the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

Kane, who became the first English player to win the Ballon d’Or for 25 years, has less than a year to run on his Bayern contract and is in talks over an extension.

Olise, who finished ninth in the voting for the Ballon d’Or, is tied to the Allianz Arena until the summer of 2029 but continues to be linked with Real Madrid.

However, Dreesen insists Bundesliga giants Bayern are working hard to ensure both players commit their long-term futures to the club.

In an interview with BILD via Sport1, Dreesen said when asked about Bayern’s chances of keeping hold of Kane: “I am very positive about it.

“We have held good discussions and are currently working on the details. For us, he has been worth every euro.”

And when asked about Olise, he added: “We are interested in having Michael play for us for as long as possible. When the time is right, we will talk to him about the future.”

Dreesen insists Bayern can afford 'any transfer'

Kane is the most expensive signing in Bayern history, with the German side having shelled out €95million (£79.5m) to acquire him from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2023.

And the England captain has been nothing short of spectacular for Bayern, recording 156 goals and 40 assists in just 159 games in Bavaria.

Dreesen insists Bayern have the financial might to sign another player of Kane’s calibre in the future, although he steered clear of making it a promise.

“We have the financial power to afford any transfer,” Dreesen added. “But, firstly, something isn't necessarily good just because it's expensive.

“And secondly, the player has to fit into our team. Simply having a big name doesn't help you at all.”

Kane and Olise will be hoping to get on the scoresheet this evening when defending champions Bayern entertain Magdeburg in the German Cup.

Both players have been in frightening form once again this season, with Kane registering 10 goals and seven assists while Olise has posted 10 goals and six assists.

Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace for €60m (£50.8m) in July 2024 and has delivered 52 goals and 60 assists in 118 appearances for Vincent Kompany’s side.
