Kylian Mbappe seemingly dropped another transfer hint when he welcomed new Paris Saint-Germain recruit Ousmane Dembele.

The latter has just been officially unveiled by the French giants following his €50 million switch from Barcelona, bringing an end to a transfer saga that had already gained traction early in the window, then dissipated only to reignite in major fashion in recent weeks.

One transfer saga that won't disappear anytime soon is that of Dembele's compatriot Kylian Mbappe, who is still the subject of intense links to a move away despite reiterating his commitment to PSG for the upcoming season several times.

Out of contract next year, the Parisians are trying to offload their golden boy this window and they even offered him a new contract that would have allowed him to get his dream move to Real Madrid next summer anyway, but to no avail.

Mbappe wants PSG stay

The 24-year-old will stay at PSG without signing a fresh deal even if it means he will be left to rot on the bench for a year. When welcoming Dembele, he again reiterated his position.

"Welcome home my brother," he wrote on his Instagram account. "So happy to see you here. The adventure begins." It is clear that the Frenchman plans on staying with PSG and playing with Dembele - but it's not his decision to make.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Mbappe won't feature in PSG's opening Ligue 1 game against Lorient and Luis Enrique's recent comments suggest that the Frenchman really does not feature in his plans this term. "My actions will speak for my decisions," the Spanish coach said.

Mbappe is expected to join Real Madrid for free next term, but by the time he does so, he may not have played football for months, having recently rejected a record move to Saudi Arabia that would have allowed him to depart for Spain next summer.
