Former Arsenal star Samir Nasri has suggested Marseille as an option to

Former World Cup winner Emmanuel Petit weighed in as well, believing that having two of the best players of all time in Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in Ligue 1 would do the national championship good.

“Dreaming is good. But reality is far from dreams at the moment, I see only two positive points in a possible arrival of Ronaldo at the OM: boost a region that is just waiting to live its passion to the full and once again bring together Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, the French championship would only be a winner.”

At the moment, it’s unlikely that Ronaldo joins Marseille, but given the window is still open, he still wants to leave and has been unable to fit into Erik ten Hag’s philosophies at Manchester United, things could change quickly.
