Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal have tabled a world record €300 million bid for the Frenchman - which was accepted by PSG - but Mbappe does not want to move to Saud Arabia this summer.

Chelsea and Liverpool are among the Premier League admirers, while Real Madrid remain the most likely destination for the France international.

However, Barcelona are determined to present an attractive offer to both PSG and Mbappe, and as a result they have offered the Parisians a swap deal involving Gavi, according to L’Equipe.

Gavi to PSG?

The 18-year-old Spaniard burst onto the scene at Barca in the 2021/22 season and he made 49 appearances in all competitions last year, scoring three goals and providing seven assists. Gavi also won the 2022 Golden Boy award.

He currently has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €86.7m, however, back in April Gavi’s ETV was as high as €102.9m.

Despite this, Barcelona are reportedly willing to let the talented midfielder go in a swap deal with Mbappe. Previously, Ousmane Dembele was also included in the swap deal proposal, but he seems set to join PSG regardless, with the Parisians ready to activate his €100m release clause.

According to Mundo Deportivo, “Barcelona are willing to go to war with PSG if the French club ends up paying Ousmane Dembele’s release clause.”

They will reportedly go to UEFA and demand that European football’s governing body open an investigation into whether or not PSG comply with Financial Fair Play and will request to see where they get all their financial resources from.

However, Barca are willing to deal with PSG again as they look to agree a swap deal involving Gavi and Mbappe.
