CONFIRMED: Real Madrid want GALACTICO signing as €100m deal hots up

Real Madrid’s will sign a Galactico for Xabi Alonso’s squad this summer if all goes well at the Bernabeu.
Los Blancos will add Trent Alexander-Arnold to their squad in the summer, though whether that is before or during the Club World Cup is unclear.
The Liverpool right-back, who will arrive as a free agent when his contract expires, is certainly not the only player who will join Real Madrid. A deal to sign Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth has been confirmed while Alvaro Carreras should join from Benfica imminently.
Como’s Nico Paz, who scored six and created nine more in Serie A for Como, is also linked with a return to Real Madrid by Sport.
But president Florentino Perez wants more.
AS reports that the club is targeting the signing of a Galactico, a world star designed to raise the level of the team on the field and the profile of the club away from it.
Alonso has reportedly asked for Martin Zubimendi and Florian Wirtz, yet both these players appear out of reach. The Real Sociedad star is heading for Arsenal while Wirtz appears likeliest to go to Bayern Munich, though Liverpool may yet have something to say about that.

Enzo Fernandez to Real Madrid: Los Blancos target World Cup winner
Enzo Fernandez, though, looks the likeliest arrival at Real Madrid.
It is claimed that Chelsea have already made contact with the Spanish club, not necessarily to offer Enzo to them but to enquire about the availability about Real Madrid players to move in the opposite direction.
During these talks, the subject of the Argentina World Cup winner has arisen and Los Blancos have been made aware that the player is available for sale with a starting fee of €120 million.
Previous reports indicated that Enzo is “80% likely” to join Real Madrid this summer.

€100m sale on the cards
Any Galactico signing can only be made if a massive sale is first made.
The obvious option here is that Rodrygo will leave the club, with Premier League interest in the Brazil international winger.
Arsenal have recently entered talks for the South American, who has had a price tag of €100m put on his head.
Interestingly, Chelsea were first to open negotiations about Rodrgyo in what may well have been the same conversations leading to Enzo being discussed. It’s unclear if a swap deal may be possible, but it’s certainly something to keep an eye on as the transfer window develops.
