Lamine Yamal sends WARNING ahead of new Barcelona contract signing

Lamine Yamal scored one of the goals that sealed Barcelona’s LaLiga title on Thursday with a 2-0 win over Espanyol then sent a pointed warning to Real Madrid and the club’s European rivals before he signs a new deal with the Catalans.
Lamine has confirmed himself as one of the very best in the world over the course of the last campaign, with his contribution of 17 goals and 25 assists in all competitions seeing him labelled as a potential Ballon d’Or winner at 17.
He will sign a new contract with Barcelona in the summer, and while there were never really any doubts over the winger’s commitment to his club, he did fire a warning shot to rivals as he celebrated his second Primera Division success of his short career.
“To all the Barca fans, I want to say that this is only just beginning,” Lamine told ESPN. “It’s impossible to get tired of winning — that’s something I always keep in mind.”
Lamine Yamal: Barca for life?
Lamine’s message was clear: he will sign a new contract and he intends to be at Barcelona for the foreseeable future.
Indeed, it’s hard to see how any club could possibly prise him away from Camp Nou presently.
Lamine is the second-most valuable player in the world, with an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €173.2 million. The prospect of him catching Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and going top of this particular ranking is a very real one.
His new deal is likely to have a huge release clause inserted into it. While €1 billion has been standard practice for Barcelona’s young stars in recent years, due to the rise of the Saudi Pro League and the enormous wealth there, they may be tempted to go even higher this time around just to ensure they tie down the world’s best player firmly.
