Gareth Bale responds to Wrexham transfer links

Gareth Bale has laughed off suggestions that he could be Wrexham’s first major signing following their big-money takeover by two Hollywood stars.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s bid to take the reins was approved in overwhelming fashion by the club’s supporters trust earlier this week.

The pair have been tipped to make an initial £2m investment as they look to help Wrexham start climbing the English football pyramid once again.

But could this ambitious approach result in a player of Bale’s calibre rocking up at the Racecourse Ground?

According to the man himself, not quite.
