Jude Bellingham has matched Cristiano Ronaldo's historic achievement as the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder continues to shine in his early days at Real Madrid.

In his inaugural Champions League group-stage match against Union Berlin for the club the English international secured victory for Los Blancos with a last-gasp goal deep into injury time, while he netted in his first La Liga game too.

This feat places Bellingham in an exclusive club of only three other players: Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009, Isco in 2013, and Marco Asensio in 2016, all of whom found the net in their respective debut in major tournament outings for their teams.

ANALYSIS: Six reasons why Man Utd keep heading into crisis

Bellingham, who joined the Spanish giants this summer, has already notched up an impressive tally of six goals in just six appearances, contributing significantly to the team's six consecutive victories. Bellingham's latest goal came after Toni Kroos unleashed a powerful shot, with the ball fortuitously landing at the young midfielder's feet, presenting him with an open goal to calmly tap the ball home.

The starlet made an electrifying entrance in his first match for Real Madrid, scoring a sublime volley in a 2-0 triumph over Athletic Bilbao.

In his second appearance, Bellingham took centre stage by netting a brace and providing an assist for Vinicius Junior in a 3-1 away victory against Almeria the following week. In a crucial away fixture against Celta Vigo, he sealed the deal with a late header, securing a 1-0 win for Carlo Ancelotti's squad.

Bellingham's remarkable performances earned him the prestigious accolade of La Liga's Player of the Month for August, making him the first Englishman to claim this honour.

The 20-year-old continued his incredible run, clinching another dramatic last-minute winner in Madrid's comeback victory against Getafe at the beginning of September. However, his scoring streak came to a halt in the subsequent match against Real Sociedad, although Real Madrid still emerged victorious with a 2-1 triumph.
