Manchester United have reportedly added Mason Mount to a summer shopping list which already included Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane. How would the Red Devils line up if they signed all three?

United are in the market for a midfielder to partner Casemiro given Christian Eriksen's injury, and Marcel Sabitzer remains a possibility for the role full-time having impressed since his winter loan transfer from Bayern Munich.

Bellingham is the toast of European football meanwhile, with Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City at the front of the queue for the Borussia Dortmund youngster's signature.

But with the Glazer family selling United - likely to Qatari Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani or Sir Jim Ratcliffe, one of the UK's richest men who owns French club Nice - they could join in the pursuit of the England man. Mason Mount, out of contract at Chelsea next summer, is an alternative.

But with new ownership, the Red Devils could go in for both players, as well as Kane, who remains top of their summer shopping list.

Man Utd with Bellingham, Kane AND Mount?

The Kane pursuit would seem to make the most sense. United are crying out for a centre forward with Cristiano Ronaldo long gone and their 26-goal top scorer Marcus Rashford doing his best work from the left wing.

Kane remains the top-scoring Englishman in the game, and England's captain, but trophies continue to elude him at Tottenham. Dan Levy will drive a hard bargain as he did with Man City two summers ago, but with Wout Weghorst a less-than-ideal temporary solution at United, expect the Red Devils to throw money at that situation.

Bellingham would fit neatly beside Casemiro in central midfield, meanwhile - indeed it would a double pivot the envy of world football - regardless of how likely his arrival may be. But if he did join, Mount would have to play further forward in Erik ten Hag's 4-2-3-1.

With Kane up front and Rashford having the left flank on lockdown, while Bruno Fernandes captains the side from No.10, Antony's position on the right flank would be the most under threat.

Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho can also occupy the wide positions, while Amad Diallo might feel he is due a chance after impressing on loan at Sunderland, but the right flank would be Mount's most likely path into the team.

With five England internationals in this imagined starting line-up, Harry Maguire's nose might be particularly out of joint. Whether one, two or three of Bellingham, Kane and Mount rock up at Old Trafford, the club captain is set to pass a few international teammates on the way out.

Maguire remains the most expensive defender of all time following his £80m arrival from Leicester in 2019, but he has fallen behind Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane under Ten Hag, and Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered him a way out.
