Man Utd learn what it will take to keep Marcus Rashford after transfer plea
Marcus Rashford will only leave Manchester United for another elite-level club this summer, according to Sky Sports.
The 28-year-old made his first appearance for United since December 2024 in the 4-2 pre-season loss to AC Milan last Saturday.
Rashford was a second-half substitute as the Red Devils suffered a heavy loss at the hands of their former manager, Ruben Amorim, in Poland.

Despite featuring in United’s final warm-up fixture for the 2026-27 season, there remains plenty of speculation surrounding Rashford’s long-term future.
However, Sky Sports understands Rashford will only consider leaving Old Trafford if another European giant comes calling for his services.
Yet the same outlet claims his current salary - believed to be €379,000 (£325,000) a week - remains a problem for would-be suitors.
Maguire hopes 'big asset' Rashford stays at United
The news comes after United defender Harry Maguire said he hopes Rashford will stay at the club beyond the summer.
In quotes carried by BBC Sport, Maguire said when asked about Rashford’s future: “Obviously the transfer window is still open.
“As players, we hope he stays because if he does, he is a big asset to have. He can improve us for sure.
“You saw when he came on, he threatened the backline really well. He could have scored. He's a huge threat.
“I've played with Marcus for numerous years and I know that playing against him and playing with him in training is going to help us.”
Rashford publicly expressed desire to stay at Barcelona
Rashford originally hoped to secure a permanent move to Barcelona after his successful loan spell last season.
The England international recorded 14 goals and as many assists to help the Blaugrana retain their La Liga title in 2025-26.

However, Hansi Flick’s side decided against triggering a €30million (£26m) option to turn Rashford’s loan move into a permanent transfer.
Before joining Barcelona, Rashford spent the remainder of the 2024-25 season on loan with Aston Villa.
He had been dropped from the United squad by then-manager Amorim before sealing a temporary switch to Villa Park.
Academy graduate Rashford has registered 138 goals and 79 assists in 426 appearances for United, winning six honours including two FA Cups, two League Cups and one Europa League.
