Man Utd receive bold transfer stance over move for €82m summer target
Manchester United have learned Everton are prepared to resist big-money offers for Iliman Ndiaye this summer, according to The Times.
The Red Devils have been loosely linked with the 26-year-old as they look to strengthen out wide before the transfer window closes in September.
However, the Times understands it would take a bid of at least €82million (£70m) for Everton to even consider selling Ndiaye.
And even if an offer matching that valuation arrived, Everton boss David Moyes is believed to be reluctant to sanction a sale.
Ndiaye has become Everton’s star attacker since joining the club from French side Marseille in July 2024.
Regarded as one of the best dribblers in the Premier League, the forward has registered 17 goals and three assists in 71 games for the Toffees.
Any excuse to watch it again... 😮💨

The Athletic broke the news in June that Ndiaye has turned down multiple new contract offers from Everton.
Ndiaye is understood to have wanted a release clause to be inserted in a prospective new deal - a demand that was rejected by Moyes’ side.
The Senegal international, who has three years left on his current terms, has also been linked with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal this summer.
However, Fabrizio Romano understands Ndiaye wants to stay in the Premier League and harbours the ambition of playing for a Champions League club.
Carrick steered Man Utd to Champions League in 25-26
United have so far signed Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos and Karl Darlow ahead of their first full season under Michael Carrick.
Carrick was handed the United job on a permanent basis in May after a fantastic spell as interim manager last season.
He replaced Ruben Amorim in January and inspired the club to a third-place Premier League finish - and subsequent qualification for the Champions League - in 2025-26.
Carrick and United will open up their 2026-27 Premier League campaign with a trip to newly-promoted Hull City on Saturday.
Everton and Ndiaye meanwhile are preparing to entertain Pierre Sage's Crystal Palace in their opening fixture on the same day.
