Done Deals: Man City sign Detourbet and every official completed transfer around Europe today
The 2026 summer transfer window is officially open for Premier League clubs and several high-profile deals have already been announced ahead of next season.
The transfer windows in Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 haven't opened yet, however multiple teams in those divisions have already formally completed deals ahead of 1 July.
Barcelona, for example, have completed the most expensive signing of the summer so far in Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon, who cost a whopping €80 million. Meanwhile, El Clasico rivals Real Madrid have also been extremely active.
Los Blancos have paid €55m for Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella, and they have also finalised Bosman deals for Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva and Liverpool centre-back Ibrahima Konate. An agreement has been reached to sign Inter Milan full-back Denzel Dumfries too, while they also want to bring Enzo Fernandez to the club amid his desire to leave Chelsea.
Tottenham Hotspur have been extremely busy too, signing Brighton & Hove Albion's Jan Paul van Hecke for €60m, as well as Andrew Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka on free transfers from Liverpool, Bournemouth and Burnley respectively. They also want to sign Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes as they look to bounce back to consecutive 17th-place finishes.
Liverpool have replaced the aforementioned Konate with Stade Rennais' Jeremy Jacquet, who agreed a €63.6m transfer over the winter, and Chelsea have pre-agreed deals for Geovany Quenda, Denner, Dastan Satpaev and Emmanuel Emegha.
Leeds United are close to announcing the arrival of Fulham star Harry Wilson on a Bosman deal, and Manchester City are desperate to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson.
Mohamed Salah, John Stones, Robert Lewandowski, Leon Goretzka, David Alaba and several other huge names are all available on free transfers this summer, while Julian Alvarez and Morgan Rogers are among the players widely expected to move clubs for a transfer fee in excess of €100m.
