Arsenal Transfer News Today: €60m bid made as Eli Kroupi dream revealed
All the latest Arsenal transfer news in one place, including updates on Eli Kroupi, Ayyoub Bouaddi and Jeremy Monga.
Kroupi's dream transfer
Bournemouth forward Eli Kroupi "dreams" of joining PSG, Foot Mercato claims.
The French sensation is a target for a number of elite sides this summer, including Arsenal and Man Utd. PSG are also thought to be among the clubs keen to explore a move for the 19-year-old.
And the teenager appears to be keen on joining the Champions League winners. Bournemouth, though, will not make life easy for PSG and Kroupi's other suitors as they do not want to lose him this summer. They could ask for a fee in the region of €100 million for him.
Bouaddi bid rejected
Arsenal have seen a €60m bid for Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi rejected, as per Africa Foot.
The Gunners are long-standing admirers of the 18-year-old, who will be playing for Morocco at the World Cup. Arsenal already explored a transfer in January, but Bouaddi decided to stay put and sign a new contract.
However, he made it clear at the time that this deal would not preclude a possible summer transfer. Arsenal are now back in the mix to sign him as they seek to bolster their midfield ahead of the new season. Lille want at least €70m for Bouaddi.
Arsenal in Monga talks
Arsenal are in formal talks to sign Leicester winger Jeremy Monga, Ben Jacobs has confirmed.
The 16-year-old wonderkid has received approaches from as many as eight elite clubs from around Europe and the Premier League. He has rejected the chance to sign a professional deal at Leicester and is looking to leave following their relegation to League One.
Arsenal have a strong chance of winning the race for Monga's signature, but signing him could prove expensive. The cost of signing him, which may have to be decided by a tribunal due to his age, could reach up to €15m.
Brown interest explained
Football.london has corroborated that Arsenal are interested in Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown.
On the face of it, signing another player in that position should not be a priority, given that Arsenal already have Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly, while Piero Hincapie's loan from Bayer Leverkusen will become permanent.
However, with Lewis-Skelly's future likely being in midfield and Calafiori and Hincapie both able to act as left-sided back-up centre-backs, there is a belief that Arsenal would be well-advised to add a more traditional left-back profile for depth, competition and tactical flexibility.
