FootballTransfers understands that Arsenal have no intention of entertaining a potential summer exit of captain Martin Odegaard.

Sources close to the team insist that any suggestions of supposed unhappiness are "ludicrous" and wide of the mark. Odegaard is happy and settled and remains a valuable part of Mikel Arteta's squad.

Barring any massive twists in the final weeks of the season, the Norway international is fully expected to stay at Arsenal beyond this summer.

Arsenal open Manzambi talks

Arsenal have held exploratory talks over a potential move for SC Freiburg midfielder Johan Manzambi, according to TEAMtalk.

The Switzerland international is enjoying a brilliant first full season of Bundesliga football. His performances have seen him appear on the radar of Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd.

The dynamic box-to-box midfielder is likely to command a fee in the region of €50 million if he is to be on the move this summer, as he still has a long-term contract with Freiburg.

Kvaratskhelia reveals transfer stance

PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia insists that he is happy in the French capital, despite recent suggestions that he has faced criticism from teammates for his performances.

In light of these claims, the Georgian was linked with a potential move to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Chelsea named as potential suitors.

However, Kvaratskhelia says that he is loving life in Paris and that he feels very privileged to be able to play for PSG. “I love Paris, I love everything about Paris," he stated.

Arteta wants Etta Eyong

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has requested that Levante striker Karl Etta Eyong be signed this summer, according to Fichajes.

The Cameroon attacker has been one of the breakout players in LaLiga this season and was courted by Barcelona last summer. Last month, he turned down a €30m move to CSKA Moscow because he intends to play in the Premier League soon.

Etta Eyong is expected to leave Levante in the summer, with Arsenal among his admirers.

Arsenal consider Brandt opportunity

Arsenal have been made aware that Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt could be a market opportunity this summer, Sky Germany reports.

While no talks have as yet taken place, his free agent status has piqued the interest of the Gunners. The 29-year-old is a close friend of Kai Havertz and would be viewed as a squad player in North London.

Barcelona have similarly shown an interest in signing him on a Bosman deal to beef up their options for the attacking midfield department.
