Arsenal chase deal for Bundesliga speed demon

Arsenal are "aggressively pursuing" Hoffenheim youngster Bazoumana Toure, according to FussballDaten.

The Ivory Coast international is fully expected to leave the Bundesliga side this summer, and it is believed that he will fetch them a club-record fee. Currently, a figure in the region of €55 million is being touted.

Arsenal have been linked with the 20-year-old for some time as he is in the midst of a breakout season. One of the fastest players in the Bundesliga, Toure has been hugely impressive this term, though he still needs to improve his end product.

Arsenal are ready to offload backup right-back Ben White this summer, TEAMtalk claims.

The former England international has found regular game time hard to come by since the emergence of Jurrien Timber, and the Gunners could cash in on him after this season.

Potential replacements are already being monitored, with AS Roma standout Wesley Franca among the names currently being considered by Andrea Berta and company.

Arsenal interested in a Brazilian Thuram

Arsenal are keeping an eye on Flamengo teenager Daniel Thuram, as per RTI Esporte.

The 16-year-old, named after France legend Lilian Thuram, is viewed as one of the most promising prospects in the youth set-up of the Brazilian giants. Thuram is primarily a centre-back.

In addition to Arsenal, Real Betis and AC Milan are also said to be tracking the youngster's development. To fend off European suitors, Flamengo have reportedly handed the youngster a new contract with a €50m release clause.

Romano: Kvara would be ideal for Arsenal

PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia would be the "perfect winger" for Arsenal, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

The 25-year-old has recently been linked with a move to the Gunners, and while Romano acknowledges that the North London club admire the Georgian, he emphasises that doing a summer deal would be hugely "complicated."

"Then, if you ask me if there is interest, of course, there is," Romano said. "For example, for Arsenal, he will probably be the ideal player, the perfect winger, but at this stage, it's really, really complicated. I still expect Arsenal to go for a winger in this transfer window, but it's complicated for Kvaratskhelia."

This could be a blessing in disguise for Arsenal as data from analytics firm SciSports shows that the PSG superstar may not be as good an option for Mikel Arteta's side as it seems on first glance.
