The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final takes place this Sunday as Senegal face hosts Morocco in the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

Senegal have made it to the final largely due to a sturdy defence as throughout the competition they have conceded just two goals - one in the group stage and one in the round of 16 versus Sudan.

They have narrowly progressed through the knockouts stages with 1-0 wins over Mali and Egypt, respectively. Iliman Ndiaye scored the only goal of the quarter-final game against Mali, while Sadio Mane emerged as the match-winner of the semi-final with a superb 78th minute strike against Egypt.

Tournament hosts and one of the favourites to win from the start, Morocco, haven't conceded in the knockout stage as of yet.

They beat Tanzania 1-0 in the Round of 16, Cameroon 2-0 in the quarter-final and then progressed through the semi-final after beating Nigeria on penalties. Their star from Real Madrid, Brahim Diaz, is the top scorer of the tournament with five goals so far.

Both Morocco and Senegal have won AFCON just once previously so will be going for their second title.
