Raheem Sterling offer

Chelsea have offered Napoli the chance to sign Raheem Sterling on loan until the end of the 2025-26 season, as per Italian journalist Nicolo Schira.

The Blues are reportedly prepared to pay a large portion of Sterling’s wages in order to finalise a deal, although Napoli are yet to respond.

Sterling hasn’t featured for Chelsea so far this campaign, after being placed in their Bomb Squad, and he has been informed to find a new club as Liam Rosenior’s side aim to offload him from their books.

Jeremy Jacquet message

Stade Rennais boss Habib Beye has urged the club to reject Chelsea’s bid to sign Jeremy Jacquet this month amid advanced negotiations between all parties.

“I believe Jeremy is very important to our objectives, and if he were to leave, we would have to lower those objectives, because he’s a key player for us, one of the best on our team,” Beye told RMC Sport.

“We have to be able to resist this kind of approach. There are several factors beyond my control in this matter. We’ll see what happens in the coming days.”

David Datro Fofana recalled

Chelsea have reached an agreement to recall David Datro Fofana from his loan spell at Fatih Karagumruk amid transfer interest from Celtic.

The Ivory Coast striker, whose last senior international cap came way back in 2022, has enjoyed a prolific stint in the Turkish Super Lig and Chelsea have taken the decision to bring him back to west London before aiming to sanction a permanent sale.

That is according to BBC Sport journalist Nizaar Kinsella and Fabrizio Romano, who have revealed there is “significant” interest in the 23-year-old from multiple clubs across Europe.

Yan Diomande confirmation

RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, who has been linked with Chelsea, will “definitely” remain at the Bundesliga side next season, according to the club’s supervisory board chairman Oliver Mintzlaff.

Speaking to Sky Germany on Saturday, Mintzlaff admitted (via Bulinews): “As chairman of the supervisory board, I would say he [Diomande] will definitely be with us next season - even if there were an offer of €80m or €90m.

“You simply can’t let go of such a young player, whom we just signed, after only one year. He’s extremely young and playing his first Bundesliga season. We’ve worked to ensure that players can stay a bit longer.”
