Estevao has scored in each of his last three starts across all competitions for Chelsea and he has firmly cemented himself as one of the most promising youngsters in world football since his move to England.

The 18-year-old boasts the highest Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of any Premier League player under the age of 21 and he is expected to have a stellar career at Chelsea over the next decade.

Estevao was linked with both Barcelona and Real Madrid before eventually opting to complete a move to west London, and ESPN Brasil have now revealed that his success since his arrival at Chelsea has caused “growing unease” at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid signed Brazilian trio Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Endrick as teenagers, and Los Blancos officials are frustrated by their decision to not heavily pursue a deal for Estevao.

The Chelsea wonderkid was closely monitored by the Spanish giants during his time at Palmeiras, but they ultimately opted against challenging for his signature.

Carlo Ancelotti heaps praise on Estevao

Estevao scored his fourth goal for Brazil during their 2-0 over Senegal on Saturday and head coach Carlo Ancelotti was eager to praise the Chelsea teenager during his post-match press conference.

“Estevao has an incredible amount of talent,” Ancelotti told reporters. “It’s a surprise this level at his age.

“He’s good at finishing, has a lot of magic… and he works very hard. I can say this: with Estevao, Brazil have a guaranteed future.

“He’s a very talented player. He is able to show every game, in Chelsea too, and he doesn’t need a lot of minutes to show his quality.

“He can play five minutes and he can show his quality. I think the Brazil national team is really lucky to have him, and also Chelsea.”
