Andrey Santos to Man Utd?

Manchester United are reportedly “pushing hard” to complete a surprise deal for Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos amid competition from Serie A giants Juventus.

Italian publication TuttoJuve state that Man Utd could even submit an official offer to Chelsea in the January transfer window as they look to bolster the midfield options available to Ruben Amorim.

However, the west London side reportedly have no intention of sanctioning a sale to a direct Premier League rival, and Santos is still regarded as a key player for the long-term project at Stamford Bridge.

Several teams in the Premier League are among those monitoring the Spaniard’s development and CaughtOffside have revealed that Arsenal, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur are all keeping close tabs on the 21-year-old.

Neymar rumour debunked

Brazilian outlet O Globo have reported that Santos are getting ready to release Neymar at the end of his contract in December following an injury-hit return to the club. However, his camp has now hit back to deny such speculation.

“In my opinion, it was not written by a columnist but someone who has no commitment to the truth,” Neymar’s father wrote on Instagram.

“Once again, we must publicly deny this information. It’s regrettable.”

Yildiz wants Real Madrid

Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz would be “delighted” to join close friend Dean Huijsen at Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

The Turkey international has attracted significant transfer interest in recent months, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd all interested, however he is in talks over a new long-term contract in Turin.

Despite this, Spanish publication Defensa Central believe Yildiz is still eager to join Real Madrid.

Maignan to Chelsea?

Chelsea have reportedly decided to rekindle their interest in AC Milan’s Mike Maignan, despite previously ruling out a move for the France goalkeeper.

The 30-year-old was heavily linked with a transfer to Stamford Bridge ahead of the Club World Cup, however Chelsea saw several official offers knocked back by Milan and they ultimately decided against matching Maignan’s €30 million asking price.

Instead, the Blues opted to retain faith with Robert Sanchez, despite his inconsistent form since arriving from Brighton & Hove Albion, and Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol recently revealed that Chelsea are highly unlikely to sign a new goalkeeper in 2026, but this claim has been disputed by Sky Sport journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who states that Maignan and Barcelona star Marc-Andre ter Stegen have been identified as Chelsea’s two goalkeeper targets for next year.
