Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has addressed the speculation surrounding his future and revealed his dream transfer.

The Brazil international has not played for the Gunners since last winter due to an ACL injury from which he is still recovering. It was a new nadir for a player who has been ravaged by fitness problems in recent years.

Unsurprisingly, Jesus has plummeted down the pecking order at Arsenal, especially after the big-money summer arrival of Viktor Gyokeres. His prospects of playing time look slim once he gets fit again, which has prompted rumours about a potential departure.

The former Palmeiras talent has been repeatedly associated with a return to his formative club, and the Brazilian giants have certainly made no secret of their desire to bring the 28-year-old back.

However, it has been suggested that Jesus is not yet ready to return to Brazil and instead wants to remain in Europe. The striker has now seemingly confirmed this, although he did admit that he dreams of wearing the green of Palmeiras again in the future.

Jesus: I want to win trophies at Arsenal

Speaking Placar, Jesus revealed that he is attracted by LaLiga and Serie A but insisted that he is not looking to leave Arsenal just yet. “My main focus is to come back and come back well,” he began.

“Every day, the coach and the board tell me they’re looking forward to my return. I don’t see myself outside the club’s plans. I have a contract until 2027, and that’s where I’ll be.

“The interest from Palmeiras will always exist, both from them and from me. But there’s been nothing formal. It’s just the natural interest of a kid who came from their academy and dreams of going back one day.

“I watch a lot of La Liga and Serie A matches, and I think both leagues have beautiful football. Of course, it makes you curious to experience it one day, but my wish is to win titles with Arsenal.”
