Which teams have earned the most from sales this summer?

Bayer Leverkusen have earned the most money from sales of any club during the 2025 summer transfer window so far.

The Bundesliga giants have earned a whopping €189.3 million through player sales so far this summer, while they have also lost head coach Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid.

Florian Wirtz is the biggest player to have left Leverkusen this summer, courtesy of his €125m transfer to Liverpool, and they have also sold Jeremie Frimpong to Liverpool, Odilon Kossounou to Atalanta, Gustavo Puerta to Hull City and Jonathan Tah to Bayern Munich.

Bournemouth are second on the list, having earned a combined €119.4m through the sales of Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid, Milos Kerkez to Liverpool, Jaidon Anthony to Burnley and Joe Rothwell to Rangers.

In third place are Wolverhampton Wanderers. Vitor Pereira’s side have sold Matheus Cunha to Manchester United and Rayan Ait-Nouri to Manchester City for a combined price of €111m.

Brighton & Hove Albion have earned the fourth-highest total of money through player sales this summer, with the majority of their €73.7m income coming courtesy of Joao Pedro’s move to Chelsea.

AC Milan are narrowly behind, in fifth, having earned €72.8m from the departures of Tijjani Reijnders to Man City, Pierre Kalulu to Juventus and Marco Pellegrino to Boca Juniors.

Liverpool have always been smart sellers and they have balanced the books by earning €63.3m through the sales of Jarell Quansah, Caoimhin Kelleher, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Nathaniel Phillips.

Fiorentina are seventh, having sold Nico Gonzalez, Michael Kayode, Sofyan Amrabat and Cristiano Biraghi for a combined €57.7m, while Olympique Lyon are eighth. The French side have earned €54.5m thanks to selling Rayan Cherki, Said Benrahma, Amin Sarr and Johann Lepenant.

Celta Vigo are ninth and River Plate round out the top 10.
