FootballTransfers understands that West Ham United made contact with Everton on Friday to gauge the situation regarding Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s contract as they eye a potential free transfer for the striker.
The 28-year-old England international, who earns £100,000 per week at Goodison Park, has rejected a new contract offer from the Merseyside club and is widely expected to move on once his deal expires on June 30.
Sources indicate that West Ham are prepared to better his current salary in order to bring him to the London Stadium on a Bosman deal.

The Hammers' approach comes as they prepare for the departure of Michail Antonio, with the 35-year-old forward set to become a free agent after failing to agree terms on a short-term extension.
