Darwin Nunez tipped for SHOCK move to Arsenal

Darwin Nunez has been tipped for a shock move to Arsenal - and he would score 25 goals a season if he did make the transfer.
That is the opinion of former Liverpool and Wales striker Dean Saunders, who believes that Nunez would be a star with the Gunners.
The Uruguay international is expected to leave the Anfield club this summer after three underwhelming seasons, over the course of which his game time has gradually decreased.
Towards the end of this past season, Nunez was completely removed from Liverpool's XI, and it was soon speculated that this was to avoid having to send his former club Benfica additional bonus payments tied to his starts.
What is certain is that Liverpool have put Nunez up for sale this summer, and there is strong interest from Saudi Arabia as well as Napoli.
Saunders, though, says he would not be surprised if Arsenal came in for the player.
What did Saunders say?
"Is there any fan out there that would be disappointed if their club was linked with Nunez?,” Saunders asked on TalkSport.
“He's not got enough goals for Liverpool, but I think we all look at him with the same eyes.
"I wouldn't be surprised if he went to Arsenal and scored 25 goals. The people they've got lined up (Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko), they're all gambles. At least he's played in the Premier League for three or four years, and you know what you're going to get.
"He works his socks off, even if he doesn't score, so he's not a passenger. That's why the Liverpool fans like him."
"He's not hopeless and what surprises you about him is that he's got every finish in his locker. He can go around the keeper, he can shoot from range and he can score headers, but he does seem to find a way of missing sometimes."
Arsenal are in the market for a top striker this summer and are working simultaneously on both Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko.
The Gunners are expected to sign one of these two players depending on how the negotiations with Sporting Lisbon and Leipzig, respectively, go.

As for Nunez, he joined Liverpool from Benfica for a fee of up to €100 million. However, he has disappointed by scoring only 40 goals in 143 games. Last season he managed just seven goals in all competitions from 47 games.
