Rodrygo bid made as Arsenal discuss stunning HALF-PRICE deal

Arsenal have received a big update on the future of Real Madrid star Rodrygo, who is a player Mikel Arteta’s side have been heavily linked with this summer.
The Brazil international is thought to be unsettled at the Bernabeu following the arrival of Kylian Mbappe 12 months ago, with his impact on the team squeezed.
Rodrygo has been tracked by a number of Premier League sides, including Arsenal, but the 24-year-old will not be an easy target because Madrid do not want to sell a player who is still under contract until 2028.
The hand of Xabi Alonso’s side could be forced in a deal that will have far-reaching consequences for Arsenal’s transfer window.
Saudi Pro League teams Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal have both put in offers worth €130 million to land Rodrygo, according to Fichajes.
It is claimed the two clubs are ready to go head-to-head with a “staggering” offer to try to win the signature of the South American.
Arsenal are unlikely to move for Rodrygo at such a price, making a serious push to sign Nico Williams from Athletic Club all the more likely. Given that the Spain international wants to move to Barcelona, though, that is also a deal laced with difficulties.

Cup-price sale rumour
Potentially moving the other way out of the Emirates Stadium is Oleksandr Zinchenko, whose importance in the Arsenal squad has tumbled in recent months.
The 28-year-old, who was signed from Manchester City in 2022 for €35m, has caught the eye of AC Milan and could be allowed to depart for just €10m, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Although Ukraine international Zinchenko has just a year left on his Arsenal contract, he still has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €20m, so such a move would represent the Gunners allowing him to depart at half price.
With Kieran Tierney already having departed on a free transfer to move back to Celtic, Arsenal would be left conspicuously short on the left side of their defence if this move was to be ratified.
