Arsenal have put an enormous asking price on the head of Jakub Kiwior in a bid to fend off suitors interested in signing the Poland international star.

Although the 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal have made their stance on the player crystal clear by putting an asking price of €70 million (£60m) on the head of the player.

Kiwior has been a revelation in the heart of the Gunners’ defence, earning the nickname ‘the Polish Maldini’ from fans after a string of commanding displays in Gabriel Magalhaes’ absence. He has featured 29 times across all competitions for Arsenal this season, proving himself to be a dependable option for Mikel Arteta’s side.

After it was confirmed that Gabriel would require hamstring surgery, Kiwior’s importance to Mikel Arteta's squad has grown exponentially - especially following standout Champions League performances against Real Madrid.

His Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €25m, but his importance to the Gunners is not reflected by this figure, hence the lavish asking price that the Emirates side is ready to demand for the player.

Crystal Palace bid rejected

Sources had already revealed to FootballTransfers that Crystal Palace had made inquiries about Kiwior's availability. Other Premier League clubs and several from Europe have also expressed interest in the versatile centre-back.

However, Arsenal have firmly rejected those approaches. Sources insist Kiwior is not for sale under any circumstances and will remain at the Emirates Stadium for the 2025/26 Premier League season. Arteta and the club hierarchy view the former Spezia man as central to their defensive setup moving forward.

Kiwior, who arrived in January 2023, has shown he can perform at the highest level. With his composure, tactical intelligence, and Champions League pedigree, Arsenal believe they have a top-class defender entering his prime - and they’re not letting him go.
