Chelsea prepare to make OFFICIAL €100m bid

Chelsea are ready to make another €100 million-plus signing this summer, this time in the form of Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers.
Rogers has been one of the most impressive players in the Premier League this season, delivering 14 goals and 15 assists in all competitions.
GiveMeSport reports that Chelsea are strongly considering making a formal offer for Rogers, having already identified him as a key target for the summer.
Despite Villa valuing him at €106m, Chelsea have not been put off and would be prepared to pay another three-figure sum this summer.
Morgan Rogers to Chelsea?
GMS reports that if Villa do not qualify for the Champions League this weekend then that would make a move to Stamford Bridge more likely for Rogers.
FootballTransfers exclusively revealed earlier this week that Rogers is a player whom Arsenal are monitoring for a summer transfer, although they will likely face strong competition from Chelsea among other sides.

GiveMeSport now claims that Chelsea could be first to make an official bid for the England international.
Unai Emery’s side may be put under significant pressure to cash in on stars this summer due to their PSR position, particularly if they miss out on Champions League qualification this season.
Despite raising more than €100m from sales in January, Villa are understood to need a major sale before the June PSR deadline to avoid any sanctions, having spent over €200m on players last summer.
Villa are more likely to seek exits for players such as Ollie Watkins or Emi Martinez but they are aware that the interest remains strong in Rogers and that bids are to be expected for the attacking midfielder this summer.
