REVEALED: The ideal club for frozen out Man Utd wonderkid
Manchester United could be saying goodbye to Hannibal Mejbri next summer.
The Tunisian midfielder has an expiring contract at Old Trafford - though they retain the option for a further year - and talks over a new deal have stalled.
Moreover, after impressing earlier in the season, the youngster appears to have been frozen out of the team, with his outing in the EFL Cup against Newcastle last week having been his first appearance for the club since the start of October.
The SciSports Career Tool shows that Hannibal would be best off leaving for PSV next summer. With a 'Club Fit' rating of 88, Hannibal would do well to consider a transfer to the still-unbeaten Eredivisie leaders.

Hannibal's perfect club

Not only would the 20-year-old midfielder have plenty of time to play under Peter Bosz but Eindhoven is also the ideal place for him to develop further before making the step up to Europe's elite. Game time seems to be Hannibal's problem at Man Utd at the moment.
No one denies the midfielder's talent, but the Tunisia international is currently simply unable to nail down a starting place at the Red Devils. Erik ten Hag has called on Hannibal six times this season, but often as a substitute. If Hannibal wants to realise his full potential, he will have to get minutes under his belt.
In the summer, the youngster was already linked with a departure but nothing ultimately materialised. However, the midfielder would do well to find minutes elsewhere. Hannibal now seems to be at a standstill in his development, meaning he will never reach his ceiling.
Why a PSV move makes sense
It could be an option for both PSV and Hannibal to consider a winter transfer. In addition to the fact that Hannibal has to play, PSV is eagerly looking for a new midfielder.
The Eindhoven team said goodbye to Ibrahim Sangaré and Érick Gutiérrez last summer, while only Jerdy Schouten was signed. Although PSV may have improved in terms of quality, the club will run into problems in the event of a possible suspension or injury to Schouten. The arrival of Hannibal can be a solution for both parties.

But how much will PSV have to pay for Hannibal? The midfielder still has the option to extend his contract for one year, but so far this has not been done. Data from FootballTransfers shows that Hannibal currently has an Estimated Transfer Value of €3.8 million.
If Hannibal moves and ends up getting more minutes elsewhere, his ETV will surely increase dramatically. The arrival of Hannibal may also be worth considering for PSV for financial reasons, especially if they were to somehow manage to sign him on a free transfer next summer.
