Real Madrid hold SHOCK Bellingham talks amid Wirtz interest

Real Madrid have reportedly held discussions over Jude Bellingham’s form amid concerns over his lack of impact this campaign.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a sublime debut season at the Santiago Bernabeu, registering 23 goals and 13 assists in 43 appearances across all competitions as he helped Los Blancos win the Champions League and La Liga double following his arrival from Borussia Dortmund.
However, Bellingham has suffered a slight dip in form this year as Real Madrid endured just their second trophyless season since 2010.
In a bid to understand the reason behind Bellingham’s performances this campaign, and ensure he improves next year, Real Madrid have held several internal meetings about the Englishman, according to Marca.
Furthermore, Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly even held talks with Bellingham in an attempt to find an explanation for his downturn in form.
Real Madrid are worried that Bellingham is no longer impacting matches as he did during the 2023-24 season, but they are confident they will see an “immediate reaction” from the 21-year-old when the new campaign begins.
Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid this season
Bellingham’s slight downturn in form this campaign has coincided with the arrival of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.

The England international was largely deployed as a false nine during his debut campaign at Real Madrid, but the addition of Mbappe has forced him to play in a deeper role and this has resulted in a fairly significant decrease in his tally of goals and assists.
Furthermore, Real Madrid remain interested in bringing Florian Wirtz to the club this summer, which could impact Bellingham even further.
Xabi Alonso is eager to bring Wirtz with him when he arrives from Bayer Leverkusen and despite major competition from Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester City, Real Madrid are firmly in the race for his signature.
