Jude Bellingham will be the next Real Madrid star to sign a new contract, a report from Spain has confirmed.

Bellingham’s future at the Bernabeu was in question this summer as several Premier League clubs monitored him, yet after rapidly establishing himself as a key figure under new manager Jose Mourinho, the 23-year-old is ready to sign a new long-term contract in Madrid.

He will follow in the footsteps of Vinicius Junior, who received a sizeable pay rise in August when he signed a new contract with the club after months of talks.

Bellingham contract announcement soon

Bellingham’s case promises to be easier for Real Madrid to resolve, with Matteo Moretto the latest to confirm that a fresh contract for the England international is close.

“Real Madrid are going to renew Jude Bellingham's contract; he's next,” he confirmed in quotes published by Marca.

The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder’s current agreement expires in 2029, but he can look forward to a small extension as well as improved terms.

Moretto confirmed: “We’re always talking about a renewal until 2030 or 2031. We’ll see if anything changes, but they’re working on it.”

An official announcement from Real Madrid over Bellingham’s new contract is expected to come this year, and the journalist even claims that it might arrive before the international break is through.

Rumours indicate that the England star will be rewarded with a lucrative new salary that will match the earnings of Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe, who are currently the highest-paid players at the Bernabeu.

Bellingham, who shone for England at the 2026 World Cup, has scored three goals and provided three assists in six La Liga appearances so far this season, and he is now the third-most valuable player in world football, behind Manchester City centre forward Erling Haaland and Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal.

Real Madrid transfer update

While Bellingham is set to sign a new contract at Real Madrid, there are several Los Blancos stars who face uncertain futures ahead of 2027, including Brazil striker Endrick.

The teenager has played a mere four minutes of action so far this season, after missing the first four matches of the campaign through injury, and he has been widely tipped to leave the club in January.

Endrick was expected to play a key role for Real Madrid following an impressive loan spell at Lyon last season and the sale of Gonzalo Garcia to Fulham, but he has been usurped in the pecking order by summer signing Carlos Espi.

As a result, his camp are exploring a potential exit and it’s reported that a meeting will be scheduled before the winter window to determine whether he will be allowed to leave Real Madrid.

Several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, are keeping tabs on Endrick’s situation, with the Brazilian set to receive a host of transfer offers if Real Madrid become amenable to a departure in 2027.
