Erling Haaland’s agent is already dropping hints about the Norwegian star’s future move having seen him make a flying start to life in England.

Haaland joined Manchester City in the summer after months of speculation and has done well in Pep Guardiola’s side, already scoring 18 Premier League goals.

There was always a belief that City were seen as a stepping stone club for him but the Premier League champions aren’t treating it that way.

Now, his agent Rafaela Pimenta has spoken about the forward’s future, suggesting that there has to be a good project in place for him.

Pimenta took over the Mino Raiola empire after the agent’s passing earlier this year and has overseen operations for his clients.

She has now spoken about Haaland’s future amid links to clubs such as Real Madrid and says there have to be good plans in place if he is to move.

"Perfectly planned career? I do not know," said Pimenta in an interview with Marca. "What I know is that it is structured. What happens I cannot know, things can change. We are clear about what we want to do.

"When his father first arrived at the office, he looked at me and told me that the most important thing was planning, the project. He found the right site and agency because we always have a project for all players. It is a professional project, but we are talking about variables that we do not control.

"They are all wonderful, but 20 years ago we outlined a project with a Brazilian player and he had five serious injuries. The project could not work. With Erling we have had a project from the beginning and the project is working. Keep going."

She was then asked if there was a clause in his contract that would allow him to move clubs in 2024 to which she was coy

"You have to do it [ask that question] and it is very interesting," she added. "If we don’t say anything, surely something is interpreted and if we say something, too. As a lawyer I know that I can’t say anything, but I also know that if I don’t say it, they will say it."

Haaland is tied to the club until 2027 but as he keeps getting better, speculation about his Manchester City future will continue to rage on.
