Manchester United are set for a pivotal transfer window in their modern history in the coming weeks as INEOS properly take control of football operations at Old Trafford.

With a new structure expected to take place above manager Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils are set for significant change this summer - potentially including the Dutchman.

Ten Hag remains under pressure at Old Trafford, with Man Utd looking at several different replacement options.

Off the pitch, though, there is now great hope with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS looking to bring in new minds to oversee drastic improvement on the pitch.

No more Ed Woodward, and hopefully a structure which can set up the club for future success. Expect many players to leave and several to come in.

Our live Man Utd transfer blog brings you all the latest news surrounding the Red Devils, including exclusives from our own reporters as well as checking out what the other big names are saying (including the likes of Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein).

There are expected to be many moves this summer with players coming and going, and the Old Trafford rumour mill is already in full swing.

Rooney's brutal Man Utd message

Wayne Rooney has delivered a damning verdict of the current Man Utd squad.

"You have to build the team around Bruno Fernandes," he told Sky Sports.

"He's the one player with quality, he has got fight in him. I think the young players and then... all the other players get rid of them.

"It is not going to be in one year. I think it has got to be over the next couple of years."

Rio slams Man Utd's recruitment policy

Man Utd legend Rio Ferdinand has slammed the club's recruitment policy over the last 10 years, claiming only three players are at the "level you expect".

"When you look at the recruitment, I think there's only three players that I can remember coming in and then going: 'Okay, they've played at a level that you would have expected,' he told the Sports Agents podcast.

"Bruno [Fernandes], Cristiano [Ronaldo] and Zlatan [Ibrahimovic]. The only three players I though that you go actually I saw consistently what I expected to see from them.

"Everyone else just fell well short. For whatever reason it is, they just haven't hit a standard you expect them to come in for. There's no value in them in what you expect. So they have to get to the bottom of that."

"If for some reason they don't want to have me, I will go, but if they want me I will stay."
