What did Romano say?
"Joao Pedro is in the U.S," Romano confirmed on his YouTube channel.
"He has completed his medical as new Chelsea player, so everything is okay and everything is done.
"So Joao Pedro is a new Chelsea player from Brighton for £55m plus £5m in add-ons.
"Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro to Chelsea, both deals are confirmed."

The Brazilian has agreed a seven year contract at Stamford Bridge.

As for Gittens, he has also signed a seven-year contract at Chelsea until 2032.

Chelsea will now have a brand new front three for 2025-26 with Gittens and Pedro outside striker Liam Delap, who arrived from Ipswich for €35m.
